Pacifica is a 420+ acre nonprofit nature reserve located 20 minutes from Grants Pass near Williams.  It is owned and run as the non-profit organization and focuses on environmental education. This land is home to oak forest, pine groves, creeks, and two ponds with lots of plants, animals, and places to explore.  We have a tipi set up for warm shelter during the chilly and rainy days.  For more information and photos of this beautiful location, visit their website:

" Every child should have mud pies, grasshoppers, water-bugs, tadpoles, frogs and mud-turtles, elderberries, wild strawberries, acorns, chestnuts, trees to climb, brooks to wade in, water-lilies, woodchucks, bats, bees, butterflies...sand, snakes, huckleberries, and hornets; and any child who has been deprived of these has been deprived of the best part of his education.
